Heartbreak Cinema is all about telling stories through music.

Started in 2018 in the bedroom of 17-year old Radu Bădilaș, Heartbreak Cinema is an electronic music project focused on cinematic storytelling through song writing and sound design, using vocal inserts that add context to the audio scenes.

Radu released the first compilation of productions titled “A Collection of Clouds” on November 25th, 2018. It included 4 tracks, 3 of which have later been remastered and officially released as the Test Footage EP, with an added remix of the second track.

The second Heartbreak Cinema EP was released on November 20th, titled “No More Fate and Destiny”. It was made throughout late 2019 and 2020 and it tells the story of leaving abroad to study film production and ultimately quitting. The EP features 4 original tracks, one of which is a collaboration with L.A. based rapper Forsyth.

The first Heartbreak Cinema live performance took place on November 25th at Radio Guerrilla's studio, as part of the Deer Music contest. The performance was live on air as well as live-streamed on Radio Guerrilla's Facebook page, where it currently has over 5000 views.

All Heartbreak Cinema tracks are still written and produced entirely by Radu in his bedroom.
